I am in my late 40s and Im just getting into skincare. My DIL gifted me a set from Paulas Choice last year and I liked using it. I think im ready to get serious about skincare and would like some product advice.

Hello! Im glad that youve decided to get into skincare. Its gonna be a fun ride from here on I promise. You should definitely start with a basic routine. This consists of a gentle cleanser, a good hydrating moisturizer and a good sunscreen. I recommend cerave for the cleanser and moisturizer because itll be gentle but potent for your mature skin. You might also wanna start using retinol. Cerave does have retinol too and I like their serum. For the sunscreen, you should try getting either Biore UV or Anessa. Both of these are asian brands but I swear by them! Also, collagen a must have in my routine and I would recommend it to you too because as we grow old our skin gets saggy. Collagen is intended to fight that. You can find collagen here: www.vitaminexpress.org/uk/collagen-supplements

What skin type are you? How you choose your facial products depends on it. All skin needs hydration and natural aloe is good. Also, you need to monitor your nutrition, it affects you a lot. You have to cut down on sugar because it affects your skin.
